WOMEN’S GUILD REPORT-2019

The Women’s guild was busy as usual last year.  We held our Bingo/Ice cream Night on January 25th which was, as usual, a lot of fun.  Then several of us made soup or brought other items for the Lenten dinner prior to the service on March 20th.   Next, we enjoyed our annual luncheon at Juniper Village on June 13.

But our main event was the Christmas Bazaar held on December 7th.  We were busy making crafts or baking food items. Others in the congregation helped with this, and we really appreciate it.  We are also thankful to those of you came to the bazaar and supported us.  The financial report shows what we made this year.

Another way many of you support us is by buying ShopRite gift cards.  We make 5% from every purchase.  To purchase them see me (Harriet) after service.  We also make money from ShopRite receipts (less than 5 months old) that you put into a box in Fellowship Hall.   The financial report shows what we have been able to donate to due to your generous support.

All women of the church (not just members) are welcome at any of our meetings.  We usually meet at 10am the second Saturday of the month (not July and August) in the Annex.  But check the bulletins in case there’s a change.  We do have laughs, it’s not all business, and does include a devotion.

ShopRite Gift Cards. If you are interested in purchasing gift cards from the ShopRite,      see Harriet Harding.  ShopRite gift cards are available from Kim Hatton on behalf of the Women’s Guild. Available in denominations of $25, $50 and $100, the sale of the cards provides the Guild with $50 for every $1000 in cards sold. AND, when you shop at  ShopRite, be sure to save your receipts and turn them in (box in Fellowship Hall) as the Guild will receive 1% back in cash.

We sincerely appreciate the support you have shown in all our endeavors, including cellphone collection, sale of Shop Rite gift cards, and turning in ShopRite, and Redner’s receipts. The profit from all our projects helps us help the  church and people in our  church and community.
